A coming-of-age story like no other, submerge explores the current pressures on young adults to make their mark on the world, whilst juggling with the competing demands of family, peers and a society who rewards success.
For Jordan, university life brings the promise of new experiences and a chance to break away from the pressure placed on her by her family to pursue her burgeoning career as an elite athlete. Through her newly discovered passions – the study of history and her academic tutor Angie – Jordan opens her eyes to the possibility of a new path, one that she herself controls.
Instead, Jordan finds a different set of demands being placed on her. She is drawn into a situation over which she has no control, as Angie, struggling with the liaison and her own demons, pushes Jordan away.
This rejection, coupled with Jordan’s chance meeting with a sophisticated nightclub owner Delilah, sends Jordan into a spiralling cycle of self-destruction as she is introduced to a subculture of fetish and anonymous sex. Her search for answers may, ultimately, only come from her ability to understand that it is only through submission she can reclaim the control needed to finally exorcise her fear of rejection and failure.

In Development
The year is 2055 and, as predicted, climate change and peak oil have wrought havoc on the planet. China, officially a superpower and filling the global power vacuum in the wake of the decline of the American Empire, have their sights set on the seemingly endless reserves of minerals in the West Australian desert. The traditional power bases of Melbourne and Sydney have been weakened by inundation caused by rising sea level and the separatist movement in the West is gaining momentum.
The scene is set for a dramatic confluence of power, wealth and history.....
